The #AI hype is beginning to get annoying. AI Art is particularly stupid. It’s not art if it is not breaking new ground about the human condition in some way. And if a machine is intelligent enough to do that then get ready to be told by a machine who you are. If it isnt that intelligent then it’s a fancy pen or paint brush. Iterated recombinations of known ideologies is not creativity. Rabid technophiles will create echo chambers and admire themselves for making fancy calculators that they call artists. And if people actually buy into it … well I guess there will always be junk collectors.
