Years ago, I had a pitched battle with a relative about whether her children should use Google to cut and paste homework. I still stand by the notion that information that is readily available should be used … so long as the children/users understand what they are copying. However, now there are AIs that at the touch of a button can write kids’ homework for them … or your emails for you … or create music or movies for anyone.

You.com just announced an AI powered writing tool.

No more “my dog at my homework”!

…………………………

Student: Homework is so easy now. My AI writes it at the push of a button. I don’ t need to blame my dog anymore.

Teacher: Grading is so easy now. My AI does it and can give absolute or on the curve grades. If only, it could instruct the students too.

Degree Holder: My educational record is on the blockchain and My AI submits it to matching jobs across … the Metaverse. I just have to wait for a job.

Employer: My AI assesses for job skills, cultural fit and training needs by scouring educational records and Metaverse activity … even checks for criminal records.

Interviewee: My AI has created a video profile for me and feeds me answers to live questions in real time.
