Kids Books That Help Teach Your Child To Care About Others
Traditionally this has been left to hands on mentoring by parents or grand parents with their ideologies, principles and best efforts. Sometimes, books and other media are brought into the mix to reinforce some ideas. What has been lacking is a set of books that followed a carefully considered framework of social and emotional learning. Could such books be fun? Could they also bring in other important learnings?
So what should we be teaching our kids about caring for others? How can we spur young minds to consider others and coexist positively? What should be in this foundational value system we should convey? To respect others? To care for their opinions? To work as a team? To resolve differences peacefully?
All of the above!
And how can a parent or grand parent or kindergarten teacher ensure those ideas take firm root in young minds without them merely being corrective lectures or imposed retrospections? How can we make these ideas charming from the beginning?
