If You Get ChatGPT Via Neuralink Then What Or Who Is A Human?
Let’s say an AI like ChatGPT matures enough to be a credible and reliable expert on all subjects. Let’s say that brain-computer interfaces like Neuralink mature enough to be able to channel such an AI directly to you. Lets even say everyone has such a Neuralink. Who then is truly required in society? Who will listen to anyone else for any reason? And finally who or what is a person?
Talk to any Gen X today and you will see the harbinger of this. The amount of information on almost any subject that they spew out with no understanding of either inner workings or overarching principles is quite literally gobsmacking. Even though they have no experience in that space and they have never acted on their own spew and almost nothing they so enthusiastically regurgitate is even actionable, the metrollectuals continue to enjoy that sound of their own voices. One cannot get a word in edgeways. Soon they will find tools to have multiple simultaneous conversations with their own voice and deep fake video presence. Add in omniscience via ChatGPT/Neuralink and suddenly the tables might just turn … because everyone has all the same info and pontification becomes obsolete.
