I really think it boils down to whether we teach young kids to see others point of view. This forms the basis to avoid everything from psychotic behavior and crime to avoiding prejudice, racial issues, gender and sexuality issues as well as in many cases war. Empathy is simply not possible without seeing other points of view. Thanks for yoru response!
