Apparently 2% Of Elon’s net worth can solve world hunger. That is marketing speak any which way you cut it. However, is it an opportunity to make a world changing humanitarian overture? Probably. How much more magical could Mr. Musk get? Tesla, Solar City, SpaceX, Saturday Night Live … World Hunger! Would you hand over $6B if you were Elon? He has many notches on history’s belt already … is this one the ultimate?

David Beasley must have sensed an opportunity and kudos to him for posing the world hunger problem quite like this! Billionaires need to “step up now, on a one-time basis”, said David Beasley in an interview on CNN’s Connect the World with Becky Anderson that aired Tuesday — citing specifically the world’s two richest men, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.

“$6 billion to help 42 million people that are literally going to die if we don’t reach them. It’s not complicated,” he added.

I am sure that the problem is perhaps more expensive then just $6B … maybe a few more billion … but not impossible. I am also sure that whatever that final amount is, it can be handled by

• Elon or Bezos or a couple billionaires (you should definitely check out what tech billionaires eat : gulp … Zuckerberg kills his own meat) or
• even by a couple hundred millionaires
• or by CNN hosting a…
